The Estate
Between Stari Grad and Vrboska, inside the UNESCO-protected plain that Greek settlers first planted twenty-four centuries ago, a stone villa stands alone on 8,500 m² of olive trees, fruit gardens and pine.
No neighbours. No passing road. Only birdsong, the scent of rosemary, and the sea 800 metres down the path at Oskorušica bay. Villa Harpocrates takes its name from the Greek god of silence — and keeps his promise.
A central Dalmatian stone house and three smaller cottages sleep twelve, gathered around a heated pool and stone terraces built for long dinners under the vines.
The Villa
The central house holds the living room with its fireplace, a full kitchen, a wine cellar below, and bedrooms above and beside. Around it, three stone cottages: a summer kitchen with masonry oven and dining for ten, a guest bedroom, and the utilities that keep a week running smoothly.

Weddings are hosted on an exclusive-use basis, with the estate reserved for your party for the full stay. May, June, September and October offer the island at its gentlest. We work with trusted local caterers, planners, photographers and musicians, and will gladly make the introductions.

The villa sits in open country inside the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain — yet the island's oldest town, its prettiest harbour and its best konobas are minutes away. Twelve mountain bikes wait at the villa for exploring the lanes the Greeks laid out.
